About Ruth

Ruth Granen is the owner and founder of YOUR HOME Inc. Her idea for this company began many years ago with her desire to redesign her own home, giving it the warmth and love that you only find at home. She is an interior design professional, with an innate sense of color and design.

Ruth has extensive personal and professional experience in home remodeling and landscape design. She has been instrumental in renovating and redesigning living spaces for many years and has expressed her creative talents through the work she’s done. Ruth incorporates vintage and well-loved items with current furnishings, always keeping function and comfort as top priorities. In working with her clients, Ruth strives to combine all of her knowledge, talents and experience to make your house your home.

Ruth received top honors for her design ability from Sharp ReDesigns of Victoria, BC. In February 2011 she studied color theory under Maria Killam of Vancouver, BC. Ruth uses this theory and combines it with her own intuition and environmental consciousness while incorporating the clients existing furnishings into fabulous new design. Ruth began her career in design by studying graphic arts at the University of Washington.
